During this chaotic time we've had, I've been exploring some new services I have wanted to provide but haven't had the time to learn. One of these services - art portraits made by digitally drawing - I have been able to learn and put into practice, and I hope to officially roll this service out soon. This would be an alternative to photos, and might be a nice option this year for holiday cards for those who may be feeling unsure of a photo session during this time.
The other service is photo restoration. With my connection to Larry Robinson Photography studios, for years now I have had frequent calls from people with old Larry Robinson photos asking for suggestions on restoring damaged photos of their family members, or having copies made. I have been able to help with the copies, but until now have not been able to help with restoration.
I am currently in the process of taking courses in photo restoration in hopes of providing this service in the near future. Depending on the demand, I would likely need to invest in some new equipment to cover the amount, sizes and types of scans I would need to do for old photos, and possibly negatives.
In order to gauge what the need might be for this service, I would appreciate your feedback in a quick survey that can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BC8Z2FF
Thank you so much for your time and feedback!
