CTC Photography sessions focus on you and your family. I'll spend time with you, probably in different settings, making sure I've got photos that capture the essence of YOU.
I understand that having portraits done is an investment - an investment into preserving these memories of how life is in this moment - and so my goal is to provide you with images that you will feel proud to display. My goal isn't to just click the button, but to make the entire experience an enjoyable time for you, from the session to the final edited and processed images - then on to products printed with premium, archival-quality materials. I select and hand-edit each image that I provide, and if you were to watch me as I work you would likely find me smiling - or crying happy tears! - as I go through your images. My goal is for your images to evoke the same emotions - even stronger - for you.
Session time frames are variable with several different factors (weather included, as I am a natural light photographer with primarily outdoor sessions, with the exception of small infants). Generally, the standard sessions will be around an hour, but sometimes up to an hour and a half. If children are involved, I try to keep the session under an hour so they don't get too bored. (Newborns and babies are an exception to this as we will allow plenty of time for diaper changes, feedings, comforting and outfit changes as necessary.) As a mother myself, I understand all too well how children can go from smiling to screaming in less than a second.
Session Investment 2016 Pricing** (Reservation fee due at booking time and remaining due at session date):
- Standard session** is $125 (includes sales tax on the session fee*) and includes:
- Time and talent of photographer in a custom session lasting about an hour. One location within the Alpine area, with multiple poses and settings within the one location. (If you have needs for a custom session lasting longer than one hour or requiring multiple locations, a different fee will need to be charged. Please contact me to discuss this.)
- Personal pre-shoot consultation
- Each image carefully selected and edited by hand
- Some minor touch up if necessary in editing
- A personal reveal and ordering appointment for your gallery
- A private online proofing gallery for 15 days
- (Prints and digital files are not included in the session fee)
- Collections for wall art, albums and digital files start at $850 and include an a-la-carte discount; a-la-carte items are available (see below for sample pricing).
- $60 reservation fee is due at the time of booking
- Military discount**:
- Preserving family memories in photographs is very important to me. Every family should have memories preserved, and regularly. I know military families are often affected by tours of duty and training that can keep them apart for long periods of time. For families who have members in active military or National Guard, I offer the standard session above at a reduced rate of $100*, with a 15% discount on prints ordered from the session. I also extend the online proofing gallery to 45 days. Please mention the military discount when you are contacting me to book a session, and bring your credentials to the session for verification of the discount.
